Twinkle Tootsies Ballet
This is our Pre-School ballet class, allow your little one to roam in the world of ballet, music and movement in a fun and friendly environment. This class is open from age 3+ to anyone with bags of energy and who loves to dance!
Ballet, Tap & Jazz
Our Ballet, Tap and Jazz classes are for Primary 1 onwards. Throughout these classes we follow BATD syllabus to learn the required skills for these genres of dance. We look into these styles with lots of time and care to ensure we are learning the correct techniques and performance skills to create lovely dancers.
Highland Dance
Highland dance requires hard work, dedication and commitment. The gorgeous Scottish national dance comes with amazing fitness skills, opportunities and friendship. We work through basic skills at class and from this, form the 4 competitive highland dances and the 10 national dances. We have competitive and non-competitive dancers and this is completely up to the student preference. We also follow the BATD syllabus and have fun with choreography making and performance skills.
Musical Theatre
Musical Theatre is a fun, confidence building class where we look into Dancing, Acting and Singing which are the 3 aspects that make up the amazing genre that is Musical Theatre. This has so much variety and depth as we can study themes of musicals from classical old fashioned musicals to modern commercial musicals. We will be working towards ongoing performances throughout the year.
Acro Gymnastics
Come along to our Acro Gymnastics class and learn skills in a controlled environment with Acro-Trix trained teachers. We cover all skills that can be performed on the floor with no equipment, Of course for learning purposes we use lots of inflatable and soft equipment to aid us to achieve skills in class. Acro requires a high level if fitness and flexibility which we work on throughout class to make our bodies strong enough and agile enough to perform such skills.
Cheeky Commercial
Bring your sass, or don’t come to class!
This class is full of attitude and diva vibes, we learn routines and work on our dance skills and performance skills and we are working towards our 2024 commercial competition team! This is something new for Stage Door Studios and we cannot wait to explore this circuit!
